How it works

No calls, no demos, no sales team. Pick a filter at checkout and the alerts start the next morning.

1

We read public records

Every day we check state open-data portals and agency posting pages: TCEQ (TX), Water Boards SMARTS (CA), NYSDEC DART (NY), MDE (MD), plus EPA notices in the Federal Register.

2

We match your filter

You choose a state, a permit type, and up to 25 counties or keywords such as Harris, concrete, data center or quarry.

3

You get one email

Facility, applicant, program, location, received date, pollutants named in the application (TX air), comment deadline (NY) and a link to the official record.

Who uses this

Environmental consultants and engineers watching for new projects
Equipment, testing-lab and monitoring vendors
Community groups and attorneys tracking comment periods

FAQ

Where does the data come from?

Public records from state open-data portals and agency pages: TCEQ pending NSR air applications and water quality permits, plus TX notices of registration (waste); California State Water Board SMARTS stormwater notices of intent; NYSDEC DART permit applications; Maryland MDE air and solid waste applications; and EPA notices in the Federal Register API. Each record links to its source.

How fast are alerts?

We check once a day and email the new records the next morning. Agencies publish on their own schedule. Texas, for example, often posts an application weeks after receiving it, so the "received" date can be older than the day we first see it.

Do you cover all 50 states?

Not yet. We cover TX, CA, NY and MD plus federal EPA notices today. We only add a state when its agency publishes the records in a form we're allowed to collect automatically. Pro and Team plans get new states at no extra cost.

Can I change my filter?

Yes. Use the filter-change form on the account page with the email you paid with. Changes apply on the next daily run.

How do I cancel or get a receipt?

Use the Stripe billing portal link in any alert email or on the account page. Cancel anytime; you keep access until the end of the paid period.

Is this legal or compliance advice?

No. PermitFiled republishes public government records as-is for information only. Always verify with the official source. See the disclaimer.

Do you collect personal contact details from permits?

No. We don't store or publish the personal names, phone numbers or emails of permit contacts, only facility, company, location and permit details.
